This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You have been included in Artisan Crafts DDs for September 2009 because you were given a DD last month. If you like this feature article, please it so that others will be more likely to see this wonderful art that you and the other DD recipients have made.

So sorry for the delay in replying! Thanks for your kind words. Most of my work is published in Creative Embroidery & Cross Stitch magazine. Their subscription number is 1800 801 647. My latest butterfly igrl is in their current issue: 16.10 I haven't yet put her on here. Best wishes with your needlework
Hi, I was really surprised to find the person who created some of my favourite works from Australian Embroidery & Cross Stitch on deviantart. I am a cross stitcher but admire and one day aspire to try more complicated embroidery. really like your work.
Hi Shinju Sorry for the delay in replying. Thank you so much for your kind words about my work. You should give embroidery a go. I started on cross stitch and it's not really that much harder--the different stitches are fun!
hey, thanks for the favs & stuff. I love your butterflys wings and dragon. I am working on an embroidery of a monarch butterfly sitting on a thistle that should be up in the gallery in about a week, you'll have to tell me what you think. Do you dye your own floss or do you buy any particular brand?
My variegated thread comes from Gumnut Yarns, a silk floss which is delightful to work with. I also use DMC stranded cotton. I can not wait to see your Monarch butterfly. Ive just planted two buddleias and some milk thistle to encourage Monarchs into my garden!
